How To Participate

The MSBOC Statewide Investigative Team works to eliminate unlicensed contractors working in Mississippi. Targeted operations are conducted weekly around the state. However, staff is limited and the Board welcomes the assistance of licensed contractors in reporting unlicensed activity.

The Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors is the contractor licensing authority of the state and is comprised of ten members, appointed to staggered terms by the Governor. The Board members select the Executive Director for the agency and are responsible for setting policy for the licensing standards.
