Pursuant to HB 831, 2015 Regular Legislative Session, beginning with the FY 2017 budget requests, any state agency, board or commission making a budget request under the authority of Miss. Code Ann. §27-103-129 is required to publish on its agency website a copy of the agency’s request.

The Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors is the contractor licensing authority of the state and is comprised of ten members, appointed to staggered terms by the Governor. The Board members select the Executive Director for the agency and are responsible for setting policy for the licensing standards.
