A specialty classification that involves construction, installation, maintenance and repair of fuel dispensing systems and storage facilities. This classification includes excavation and tank installation and incidental related piping, leak line detectors, vapor recovery lines, vapor probes, low voltage electrical work, associated calibration, testing and adjustment of leak detection and vapor recovery equipment, and in-station diagnostics.

The Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors is the contractor licensing authority of the state and is comprised of ten members, appointed to staggered terms by the Governor.
